WEEK 7 - INTRODUCTION TO FUSION360 WITH KEYRING PROTOTYPE
We were introduced to Fusion360 which is a tool that can be used to help create our a component of our chemical product that was planned from week 2. The lesson started on a Thursday instead of Mondays as our lecturer wanted to allow us to have some time to play around with the application and test a few things here and there.
Since everyone in our group had experience with Fusion360, we caught up relatively quickly, before the lesson on Thursday each of us had to present our keyring prototypes and post it on Microsoft Teams

LEARNING CONSTRAINTS
During our lesson, since we knew the basics (through the keyring prototype), we were taught on utilizing certain constraints in order to help us achieving a model that we want to create and to learn what those constraints do.

In order to help us achieve a better understanding of these constraints, our lecturer showed us a step by step process of constructing 2 cylinders connected to each other while utilizing these constraints such as fillet, tangent etc...

PHOTO FRAME PROTOTYPE:
Lastly, we had to create a photo frame prototype similar to the one that a lecturer has made as an example through 4 major components, each of them utilizing different tools and functions from fusion 360 in order to make them. We would then have to combine the 4 models into 1 file and send it to our lecturer so that it can be 3D printed, therefore there were certain parameters to take note of such as the photo being 4R size, materials available in certain dimensions like:
White acrylic sheet, 320x270x3mm
White acrylic sheet, 320x270x2.5mm
Transparent acrylic sheet, 320x270x2mm

With that in mind we created a photo frame that fits the dimensions and constraitns.
